Welcome to the information center for @Home Builders Homearama Showhouse 2008. A partnership between @Home Builders, Lifestylist® Suzanne Felber and The Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, NY - the home shows how you can live your life with style.

Sometimes everything just falls into place, and when you put together a team as passionate as the the group that came together for the 2008 Ronald McDonald Showhouse, you just can’t help but get excited about the possibilities.

It’s the perfect match - The Ronald McDonald charities gather furniture, artwork and accessories that are donated by residents  to the charity for their annual ABC Sale. The proceeds are used to operate the two Ronald McDonald houses in the Rochester area.

David Riedman of @Home Builders believes in giving back, and as a past president and board member of the Rochester Home Builders Association he knows how much of a difference homebuilders can make in a family’s life. A new home can not only provide a place to raise a family and create memories, it also is a great vehicle to bring people together and help others in the community.

Lifestylist® Suzanne Felber of the HomeIdeaFactory is no stranger to the Westen New York area - she grew up there and used her knowledge of lifestyles of the residents in this area to merchandise this home. Most consumers aren’t interested in buying all new items to decorate their new homes but are challenged with how to blend the old with the new. This home is a great example of the results that can be achieved.

Special features of the home included draperies provided by Country Curtains - a catalog and retail store that has amazing window treatments that look custom made at a fraction of the cost. The library has a wonderful collection of Kodak cameras that were donated by a former Kodak executive. Wegmans catering division - Tastings - catered an amazing dinner for eight in the home that helped raise over $1,500 for Ronald McDonald House.
